Description
Done with violet ink and watercolor paper.
The thing about this picture is that this is the third version. The first was for my life drawing final, and it turned out as a pile of failure colored with pastels. I drew it again cuz I knew I could do better. And I did, til I went to ink it and discovered that the paper had lied to me about being able to handle wet mediums. So yeah, this was fun.
If I had premium membership, I'd officially ask for critiques. (Because I will actually start over a fourth time if I need to.)

Actually, this is more a question than a critique. The first thing that caught my attention was that broad smile. To me it has a rather sardonic look that you may or may not have intended. I’m still not sure what to expect of you, except that it has been your habit to take an image that most people would have done in an ordinary and predictable manner and put that little twist on it.
