Description
This is my sister! On her first mission out she got really bad seasickness and decided to take a nap. She took a nap, on the open deck of a 52, facedown during six foot swells. People were really impressed with her and her Jew curls, so someone got a picture. I painted it for my painting final. She loved it. It's in her house right now.

My Grandfather was trained to be a ‘Wind Talker’ in WWII, but they decided to use Navajo because Cherokee was too well documented and he was reassigned as a medic. He operated out of a type of tiny field hospital built onto a (unarmed) Sherman tank, but their driver was a six and a half foot tall farmboy with a bad case of narcolepsy. It was impossible to get him awake even under fire. Fortunately the Sherman had two sets of driver controls and my Grandfather learned to drive the tank for his own protection.
