Here are eight actual, canon facts about Eleanor, taken, I've decided, the moment before Zink starts:
1) The only songs Eleanor knows are obnoxious kid's songs, ie "100 bottles of beer on the wall."
2) She was kicked out of medical school for independent research.
3) Related: her quest for knowledge has landed her in hell.
4) Also related: Standing in stomach acid means she can't feel the soles of her feet.
5) It would be really nice to have frilly, girly clothes, but she keeps accidentally setting them on fire.
6) She wears glasses for reading, but they could have been avoided if she had had a light to read by at night.
7) "Which came first, the abrasiveness or the friendlessness?" she laughs to herself over the dumb chicken and egg joke, by herself. Siiiiigghhhhhh.
8) She's found that being more attached to possessions rather than ideas means it's harder to run when they come and get you.
I will tag... Not eight people.

Ever Given
I wish I had been doin shitposts for the past ten years, just throwing random words against the wall and practicing articulation, just so I could convey how goddamn hilarious the Ever Given situation is to me. There is a giant-ass boat stuck in the Suez Canal and it has halted global maritime shipping for like four days now. Time usually reserved for being anxious about American politics is being used to cackle about the skyscraper-sized building wedged into the sand walls of the Suez. They’ve got so many tugboats and wee little excavators trying to shove it out, it’s like a single ant trying to move a chair and the entire world is watching ffnudsifnrk Maybe they should limit the size of vessels allowed in that canal, like if you can’t make a U-turn don’t go in it omfg jhdffbfbjd This is why I shop local. Not like this, specifically, because who could have predicted this hfejhejdbdfnjdj but but taking shipping times in account when purchasing fhejdhfjedfhj anything is a good way to
Podcast recommendations, part one
So at my day job, which is actually a night job, I get to listen to a things while I work. This is great especially since I can get stuck in thought-loops about the most inane things, like Spongebob or a single unwritten story scene/actually just one line/actually just a facial reaction to a situation. Point is I listen to a lot of podcasts. All of them want their listeners to spread the word. Well, why not.
BBC Global News Podcast: A half hour segment twice daily featuring the latest headlines from across the globe. I like it because it's unbiased as far as I've noticed, and also because they always have segments of good news in every episo
Fiddler on the Roof head canon
For literally no other reason than it's been almost a year since my last journal entry, I thought I would share with you my very silly idea of what happens after Teyve's family moves to America.
By the way, if you haven't seen the movie, you absolutely should. It's sweet and profound, and the dance choreography is positively divine. Maybe see it before you read the next few paragraphs of massive spoilers.
Ok, so one of the main plots is that Teyve's daughters keep choosing people to marry that get progressively off his mark of "perfect." He has five daughters, and by time they movie ends the three eldest are married with, uh, significantly
Quick question
Does anybody actually want to hear personal life stuff or should I just stick to fantasy comics?
My instincts are to keep my life offline, but all the ~cool kids~ have everything documented, but then again FUCK PEER PRESSURE
I think about this way too often and it's about goddamned time I just asked
(PS I curse a lot)
