Geez you guys you're getting pop culture all over my nice clean dA page

Although since it's here, I can say that Doctor Who is the only thing mentioned that I like. I didn't like Star Trek: I found Kirk to such a stupid, idiotic captain that it hampered any enjoyment I could get out of it. I found Picard's episodes to be idealistic to the point of niavete. And, since it'll be mentioned next, I just found Star Wars to be incredibly overhyped and dull. All six of them. (Although I did find out why you don't watch them in numerical order.) The best part about all this is that my maternal grandmother was a huge fan of both, so under my bed is a box full of Star Trek books (they need to go into my mom's classroom; that's how they'll willingly learn to read) and on my dresser is a video cassette of the original Star Wars trilogy. They are the original- some of the fighter jets still have the blue boxes still around them, and Hans Solo shot first. People find that important for some reason.
